Best Minimum Viable Products Award from Fred E-hack Smart City Hackathon
PIML sent a team to attend the boutique-style, 12-hour Hackathon on Sunday, June 9/19. Our lab members (from left to right) Hung Cao, Tina Pangging, Trang Vu (undergrad student from CS department), and Marco Mendonca had developed a prototype to explore insights from open IoT data (provided by the City of Fredericton) collected through IoT devices/sensors that were deployed around the city (provided by Eleven-X). The prototype created by our lab members won the Best Minimum Viable Product Award. Congratulations to our students.
